Firearms and safety

Before You start handling the firearm familiarize Yourself with the instruction manual and in particular with the following safety instructions. Improper and careless handling of the firearm can result in unintentional discharge which can cause injury, death or damage of property.

01. Always handle Your firearm as if it was loaded.
02. Never point the firearm at anything You do not intend to shoot on.
03. Never trust anyone that the gun is unloaded.
04. Always make sure that the firearm is unloaded before You lay it down or take it over to another person.
05. Always store the firearm unloaded with the striking mechanism released.

Never use the firearm for any other purpose than shooting
07. Never leave a loaded and cocked firearm unattended.
08. Before loading the firearm make sure that the barrel bore and the chamber are clean and without obstructions. A dirty firearm must be immediately cleaned.

09. Always use only clean, dry, high-quality ammunition that was manufactured in the original factory and is in good condition. The ammunition must correspond to the calibre of the firearm.

10. Never drink alcoholic beverages or take medicine (or drugs) before or while shooting.
11. If it is possible, wear protection glasses and ear protectors while shooting.
12. When the firearm is loaded always keep the safety on until You are prepared to fire. When discharging the safety always keep the firearm pointed at a safe area.
13. When the fired cartridge cases are ejected always make sure that they do not cause injury to You or another person.
14. Never push the trigger blade or put fingers in the trigger guard unless You are aiming at a target and prepared to fire.

15. Before You squeeze the trigger, check the target and the area behind it once again. The bullet can pass even several hundred metres through or aside the target.
16. Never shoot at a solid surface such as a stone or at water surface.
17. Never shoot close to an animal which is not trained and accustomed to such a sound.
18. Never make fun while holding the firearm.
19. Failure of fire: It the firearm fails to fire always keep it pointed at the target or at a safe area and wait at least 30 seconds until it fires. If there is a delayed ignition the cartridge will fire within 30 seconds. If it does not fire remove the cartridge case from the barrel and check it; if the firing pin indent on the cartridge primer is feeble or none have the firearm examined by a qualified gunsmith before You use it again.

20. When You clean, store or transport the firearm always make sure that it is unloaded.
21. Keep the firearm and the ammunition in a separate, locked place out of reach and sight of children and unauthorised people.  
22.
Never make any infringements into the components of the firearm. Its proper function or safety could be seriously intruded.
23. Be aware that the corrosion, use of defective ammunition, dropping the firearm on a solid surface or any other rough handling can cause a damage which is not visible at a first sight. If any of the above mentioned situations arises have the firearm examined by a professional gunsmith.
